Emily Swallow

American actor Emily Swallow was born December 18 1979. She is well-known for her role as Kim Fischer on The Mentalist and as Amara / the Darkness in the eleventh season of Supernatural. She is also known for her role as The Armorer on The Mandalorian, the Star Wars live-action series The Mandalorian. Emily was also a part of the game video The Last of Us Part II. Swallow was born on December 18, 1979, in Washington, D.C. She lived in Sterling, Virginia and Jacksonville, Florida. When she was at Stanton College Preparatory School in Jacksonville, she began acting in various amateur, college, and professional theatre productions. In 2001, she graduated with a degree in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Virginia, and followed that with an MFA in Acting from New York University's Tisch School for the Arts.Swallow began her career in Broadway theatre which she acted in several productions, including High Fidelity, King Lear, The Taming of the Shrew, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at the Guthrie Theater, Much Ado About Nothing for Shakespeare in the Park, and the world premiere of off Broadway productions Romantic Poetry and Measure for Pleasure.In 2008, Swallow made her film debut in the military drama The Lucky Ones. She starred in world premieres of Donald Margulies' play The Country House at Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse, opposite Mark Rylance in Louis Jenkins The play Nice Fish at the Guthrie Theatre, and also in John Patrick Shanley's musical Romantic Poetry at Manhattan Theater Club. [citation required] She was the winner of the Falstaff Award in 2010 for the top female actor in the role in the role of Kate in The Taming of the Shrew. In 2012, Swallow and Jac Huberman created a stage production titled Jac N Swallow. It was performed at Joe's Pub as well as the Laurie Beeckman Theater in New York. The show revolves around the hilarious mishaps and adventures of Swallow and Jac Huberman who face a myriad of problems in their lives that they face with the same degree of difficulty.
