Maureen O'Hara Biography

Maureen O'Hara was a renowned American actor and singer who was of Irish origin. The passionate, fiery role she played in several American film productions was the reason that attracted attention to the beautiful green eyed beauty. Her attractive look and natural beauty was well-loved. The actress was known in Hollywood as the "Queen of Technicolor". Her character onscreen was a reflection of her brave, strong character that struggled for her survival and fame in a male-dominated world. She always called herself the "tough Irish lass" who was never willing to compromise her honor and status to land the roles she wanted through merit. In all her years in the film arena, she always stood up against injustice and improper treatment of women actors. Because of this, she earned many followers.
