  Kerstin Anita Marianne Ekberg (Swedish pronunciation (listen) 29 September 1931 11 January 2015) was an Swedish actress who appeared in American and European films, famous for her beautiful and stunning silhouette. She gained notoriety for her role in the role of Sylvia in the Federico Fellini film La Dolce Vita (1960). Ekberg was primarily employed in Italy where she became a permanent resident in the year 1964. Anita Ekberg was the eighth child in a family of eight. Anita was a fashion model in her teens. At the request of her mother, Ekberg entered Miss Malmo in 1950. This resulted in her winning the Miss Sweden contest. Despite speaking very little English the contestant traveled to the United States to compete for the 1951 Miss Universe title (an unofficial pageant until the pageant was officially launched in 1952). Nicole Scherzinger, born June 29th 1978 in Honolulu was raised in Louisville. While in a performing arts high school, she took home the Coca-Cola Classic Talent Contest & was a part of numerous plays at The Actors Theatre of Louisville. After having graduated from Wright State University, she continued her studies in theatre arts. She was then invited to join the first season of WB's TV series Popstars (2000).
